Black & White - Entropy

This weeks challenge was black and white - entropy: gradually declining into disorder. I knew right away as soon as I saw the challenge what I wanted to photograph. A one room schoolhouse located near my home has always been something I wanted to photograph, however, I never found the time to do so. I love history and I love old buildings so this was the perfect choice for me this week.

The Thorington Schoolhouse was built in 1880 in an area settled by Elijah Thorington in 1819. The schoolhouse has been vacant since district consolidation in the 1950's and sits there weathering away.
